Meet George

George Huffman has spent the greater part of the last two decades seeking justice for crime victims on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He has tried nearly 70 jury trials in circuit court, including 20-plus murder cases. No stranger to high-profile litigation, George regularly serves as the first-chair trial attorney on complex cases. In addition to his extensive criminal experience, George has served as corporate and litigation counsel for one of the nation’s largest senior care companies.

In his current role at the District Attorney’s Office, George serves as the Chief of Litigation and Prosecutor Training for Jackson, George and Greene Counties. In addition to carrying a heavy caseload, George assists the office in the development of consistent litigation strategy and ensures that the next generation of prosecutors are well-trained, courtroom ready, and ever focused on seeking justice for crime victims.

George is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and Mississippi College School of Law where he served as the president of Law Student Bar Association. He holds multiple state bar licenses, serves on the board of directors of the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce, Mississippi Prosecutors Association, and Ocean Springs Athletic Foundation. George is a graduate of the Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Gulf Coast

George and his wife of 21 years Nikki live in Ocean Springs with their two sons and attend Mosaic Church.
